The Edelrid Protector Max Shield rope protector has aluminium ribs and fits the Protector Max rope protection mat perfectly
 
The five aluminium ribs with a fabric holder can be used individually or as replacements or extras for the Protector Max rope protection mat. The ribs feature a reinforced geometry that remains dimensionally stable and offers reliable protection, even when subjected to a high load. They can be simply and flexibly positioned on the rope protection mat using the VCR fastener. Thanks to the minimised friction when the rope passes over the ribs, the Protector Max Shield is also suitable for systems with running ropes.
