We designed the BE ONE karabiner to protect climbing ropes which can be damaged by repeated falls. The contact surface area has been enlarged to accommodate the rope, which flattens at the moment of the fall without lateral friction. Thus, the rope will slide more freely to absorb the climber's fall.
And with optimised contact surface
The contact surface area has been optimised through the use of a cylindrical profile with a 12 mm diameter. This is less restrictive for the rope and minimises wear caused by repeated falls. It allows the rope to run more freely when giving slack.
