The AIR FORCE 3 belay device is designed for belaying and allows the leader to belay or block one or two seconds on ropes from 7.3 to 10mm. The small hole makes it easy to release the ropes, even under tension. It has four grooves that accept single ropes but also two double or twin ropes.
Its two V-shaped grooves make it easy to give slack. It also allows for effective control of braking and optimises energy absorption when the climber falls.
For added safety and security, each Belay device is provided with an individual number that guarantees its traceability.
Wide and smooth, the grooves also avoid parasitic friction on edges and keep rope wear to a minimum.
